The measurement takes about 60 seconds. Total User interaction, from selecting the username to the end of the capture, is about 90 seconds. The User selects their username, enters their PIN if they chose PIN, and taps **Check**. These steps take place on the lit screen before the countdown and do not lengthen the measurement. The User then holds the Device over the eyes for a 60-second dark-adaptation countdown with eyes closed, followed by a brief light stimulus and a 4-second video capture with eyes open.
