# How should the Device be cleaned?

## Use suitable disinfectant wipes and avoid excessive liquid or abrasive materials.

The OPTOVERA Device should be cleaned regularly, especially on surfaces that are handled frequently or come into contact with Users.

Cleaning can be performed using household disinfectant cleaning wipes. These are pre-moistened wipes commonly used to clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces. They should be suitable for general device surfaces and should not leave excessive liquid on the Device.

When cleaning the Device:

1. Use a disinfectant wipe rather than spraying liquid directly onto the Device.
2. Wipe the surfaces that come into contact with the User.
3. Wipe frequently handled areas of the Device.
4. Avoid excessive moisture.
5. Do not immerse the Device in liquid.
6. Do not use abrasive materials that could damage the Visor or Device surfaces.
7. Allow the Device to dry before the next test.

The Device should be handled carefully during cleaning and stored securely when not in use.

Keeping the Device clean, charged, synchronized, and ready for use helps support reliable daily testing and reduces avoidable interruptions before or during a shift.
