User groups are used to organize Users inside the OPTOVERA platform. When a new User is added in the dashboard, the administrator can assign that User to the appropriate group. Groups can then be used to filter dashboard information and reports. Groups also help control how information and alerts are managed. Supervisors can be assigned to receive alerts only for Users in specific groups. Agents can also be limited so they access only selected groups, depending on the Customer’s configuration and operational responsibilities. This helps administrators and supervisors review testing activity for specific sets of Users instead of viewing all Users together. The Customer defines how groups should be used based on its operational structure. For example, groups may be used to organize Users by site, team, shift, department, or operational area. Groups must not be based on a User’s association method.
