# How should OPTOVERA be included in a company safety policy?

## Include results as one input within a documented safety and confirmation workflow.

OPTOVERA should be included as one input within the company’s broader safety workflow.

The safety policy should explain that OPTOVERA provides objective readiness information at a specific point in time and supports review by qualified personnel before a User performs safety-critical work.

The policy should also make clear that OPTOVERA does not make decisions on behalf of the employer. The Customer organization remains responsible for platform configuration, result review, operational procedures, and any actions taken in response to OPTOVERA results.

A company safety policy should define:

- When OPTOVERA testing is performed.
- Who is responsible for reviewing results.
- What happens after an Alteration Detected result.
- How the confirmation measurement is performed within the 30-minute confirmation window.
- What temporary safety steps may be taken before the User performs safety-critical work.
- How results are handled, accessed, and reviewed, and that they are used only for preventive safety.
- How Users choose an association method, and the route through which they can request a change.
- That a User’s association method is not a criterion in any assessment of that worker.

Before deployment, the Customer should also complete any workplace, labor, union, works-council, privacy, or regulatory consultation required in its jurisdiction.

OPTOVERA results support the organization’s internal safety process. They do not replace supervisor judgment, confirmation procedures, medical evaluation, incident review, or the Customer’s established safety policies.
