Only where a User chooses it. OPTOVERA offers two association methods, and both are available to every User in every deployment: PIN and optional one-to-one iris recognition. Where a User selects iris recognition, encrypted, proprietary Iris Identification Data is created and used solely to associate that User’s measurements with their previously enrolled record on a one-to-one basis, within the Customer’s logically separated environment. It is processed separately from measurements, baselines, and results, contains no readiness information, and has no intended function outside OPTOVERA. Where a User selects PIN, the iris is not enrolled, no iris identification template is created or stored, no iris comparison is performed, and no Iris Identification Data is created in any form. PIN verifies the username the User selects; it does not identify the User. In both methods, the Device captures Eye Video, because the pupillary response is measured from it. Eye Video may visually contain the iris, but its capture does not create Iris Identification Data, and outside the optional iris recognition function Eye Video is not processed to identify the User.
