The smartphone is configured as a dedicated OPTOVERA testing component, not as a general-purpose phone. Ordinary users are prevented from accessing the application store, installing unauthorized software, changing security or system settings, using email, messaging, SMS, web browsing, or other general-purpose communication functions, and removing or changing the approved Device configuration.
