What happens at a User's first Scan?

At the first Scan, each User chooses PIN or optional iris recognition.

At the first assessment, the User selects their username on the Device and chooses the association method:

  • PIN. The User sets their own six-digit PIN. Repeated digits (such as 111111) and sequential digits (such as 123456) are rejected.
  • Optional one-to-one iris recognition. The User selects Use Iris Recognition.

Supervisors and administrators should not choose for the User, encourage either method, or present iris recognition as expected or preferred. The dashboard shows each User's method to the Administrator, Agent, and Read-Only roles; it must not be used as a criterion in any assessment of the worker, and groups must not be based on it.
