Is OPTOVERA used for worker surveillance?
User association links Scans to the correct record and is not used to monitor or profile workers.
No. OPTOVERA does not identify people, and neither association method is used for surveillance, tracking, profiling, group identification, searches of external databases, law enforcement, public identification, marketing, or unrelated analytics.
The purpose of the association method is to link each Scan with the correct enrolled User, so the result can be compared with that User’s individual baseline and handled within the workplace safety workflow.
The OPTOVERA Terms of Service also prohibit the Customer from using the Service for surveillance or unrelated profiling purposes.
