Can the test be repeated?
The Device requests a repeat when it cannot obtain a valid measurement.
Yes. If the test is not completed correctly, or if the Device cannot capture a valid measurement, the Device requests that the test be repeated.
The test may need to be repeated when:
- The User blinks during the 4-second video capture.
- The User closes the eyes or does not keep them fully open.
- The User looks away or moves the eyes quickly from side to side.
- The User is rushed, uncomfortable, or not calm during the test.
- The Device cannot capture a valid pupillary response.
- For a User who chose iris recognition, the User is not recognized.
- The test cycle is interrupted.
A baseline measurement may also need to be repeated if the ambient light is too bright. Baseline measurements should be captured only in low or normal indoor light, below 1,000 lux. The lux measurement can be read on the Device home screen before the Scan.
If a baseline test is taken in lighting conditions above 1,000 lux, the baseline measurement is discarded and is not registered in the platform.
