How should OPTOVERA be understood in a safety, privacy, and compliance context?

OPTOVERA supports preventive workforce safety through objective measurements and human review.

OPTOVERA is a workforce-readiness and safety decision-support platform used to support pre-shift safety workflows. It is provided in a business-to-business context and is not a consumer self-testing service.

OPTOVERA measures the User’s pupillary response during a standardized Scan performed with the Device. The result is compared with the User’s individual baseline and displayed as part of the organization’s internal safety process.

In a safety context, OPTOVERA should be understood as a tool that provides an objective readiness signal at a specific point in time. It helps supervisors and authorized personnel identify when a User may require additional review before performing safety-critical work.

OPTOVERA does not replace the organization’s safety policies, supervisor judgment, confirmation procedures, or incident-review processes. It does not make employment, disciplinary, medical, or fitness-for-duty decisions on behalf of the Customer.

In daily use, the Device performs the Scan, while the OPTOVERA platform allows authorized personnel to review results, manage Users, configure alerts, and support the Customer’s internal safety workflow.
