How is User privacy protected?
Data minimization, free method choice, limited purposes, and access controls protect privacy.
User privacy is protected through data minimization, a free choice of association method, purpose limitation, role-based access controls, and Customer-controlled use of the platform.
- Data minimization. OPTOVERA does not require direct identifiers. Users are enrolled with a Platform ID and a mnemonic username.
- Choice of association method. No User is required to enroll a biometric identifier. Iris recognition is optional and never imposed; PIN is an equivalent alternative without adverse consequences. A User can change method later without losing baseline progress, and a switch to PIN automatically deletes that User’s Iris Identification Data from active systems.
- PIN confidentiality. Each User sets their own PIN on the Device. No administrator, supervisor, or SOBEREYE personnel sets, issues, or can view it.
- Eye Video. Eye Video is not delivered to the Customer or made available for download, export, or copying. Where Customer access is needed for authorized support, product-use training, or evaluation, it is provided only through a controlled, view-only environment or supervised session.
- Purpose limitation. OPTOVERA data is not sold and is not used for advertising, marketing, unrelated analytics, surveillance, or automated decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects.
- Access control. Access to results is limited to authorized personnel according to the Customer’s platform configuration, assigned roles, group permissions, and internal safety procedures.
