Within the OPTOVERA cloud platform, data is protected through encryption in transit, encryption at rest, tenant-level separation of customer data, authenticated access, role-based access control, controlled administrative access, cloud-provider security controls, monitoring, backups, and recovery procedures. Cloud-hosted data is encrypted at rest using the controls provided by the managed cloud and database infrastructure, including Amazon Web Services and MongoDB Atlas.
