Yes. The OPTOVERA Device can be placed on a guest network, dedicated wireless network, isolated device network, or separate network segment. This is often the preferred approach because the Device does not need access to internal customer systems. The segmented network must allow the required outbound connections for OPTOVERA cloud services, Mobile Device Management (MDM), Apple device-management services, and approved support endpoints. Network segmentation should not block the Device from reaching the services required for authentication, synchronization, updates, and centralized management.
