Can the Device operate if the network is temporarily unavailable?
Prepared Devices can test offline, storing measurements until connectivity returns.
Yes. The Device supports temporary offline operation. If internet connectivity is unavailable, testing can continue when the required User and operational data are already available on the Device. Username selection, PIN verification, measurement, iris recognition, baseline comparison, and result generation all run on the Device. Completed measurements are stored locally as Pending measurements and are synchronized when connectivity is restored.
There is no defined maximum offline period, but an offline Device does not receive changes made in the dashboard. User additions, disablements, group changes, and PIN resets reach the Device only when it synchronizes. Supervisors should monitor the Pending measurements indicator on the Device home screen, restore connectivity as soon as practical, and confirm synchronization before a significant backlog accumulates.
