How does OPTOVERA reduce the risk of man-in-the-middle attacks?
Encryption, certificate validation, approved endpoints, and managed configuration reduce interception risk.
OPTOVERA reduces this risk through encrypted HTTPS communication, TLS 1.2 or later, certificate and hostname validation, trusted certificate authorities, authenticated sessions, restricted communication to approved endpoints, centralized Device configuration, and prevention of unauthorized network tools or alternate applications. The underlying smartphone operating system rejects connections when a certificate is invalid, expired, untrusted, or does not correspond to the requested service.
