What happens on an offline Device after a PIN reset?
The previous PIN remains valid offline until the Device receives the reset.
PIN verification takes place on the Device, using the user list it received at its last synchronization. A PIN reset, or a PIN change made on another Device, therefore reaches a Device only when that Device synchronizes. Until then, the previous PIN remains valid on that Device.
For a forgotten PIN, this simply means the User can set a new PIN once the Device has synchronized. If a PIN was reset for security reasons, synchronize every Device the User may use as soon as possible.
A PIN change or reset does not affect the User’s baseline, measurement history, or results.
