A User repeatedly fails to obtain a valid measurement. What should the supervisor check?
Check calm preparation, eye technique, Device position, lighting, and recent bright exposure.
- The User is calm, comfortable, and not rushing.
- The User has not just come from a very bright environment, such as direct sunlight, a bright loading bay, or a vehicle in strong daylight.
- The User keeps the eyes closed during the 60-second countdown.
- During the 4-second video capture, the User keeps the eyes fully open, looks straight ahead, and does not blink or move the eyes.
- The Device stays correctly positioned over the eyes until the Scan is complete.
- For baseline measurements, the lux reading on the Device home screen is below 1,000 lux.
