A User repeatedly receives unexpected Alteration Detected results. Should the baseline be reset?

Investigate recurring unexpected results before considering a baseline reset.

Not automatically. Handle each result according to the Customer's safety and investigation procedures first.

A baseline reset should be considered only when an investigation indicates that the baseline may no longer represent the User's normal pupillary response, for example when it may have been acquired while the User was consistently in an altered state, or when a clear discrepancy is identified between the baseline and later measurements.

An authorized administrator performs the baseline reset. The User must then complete at least 10 accepted baseline measurements before conclusive Scan results resume.

A PIN change, PIN reset, or change of association method does not reset the baseline.
